Press release – Rewind Women

Luxembourg – June 2025 – Launched on June 1st, 2025, and running for 21 months until February 2027, the RE.W.I.N.D. WOMEN project aims to challenge persistent gender stereotypes through creative, immersive, and participatory approaches that empower young people across Europe. Aligned with the EU Youth Strategy 2019-2027, the project brings together six committed organisations from five European countries, combining expertise in education, youth work, art, and civic engagement.

The project is coordinated by Associazione L’ISOLA CHE C’E’, based in Rome, Italy. It brings together a consortium of five expert organisations: KEHSIA asbl (Luxembourg), PYLON ONE (Greece), DCTR – Associação Cultural (Portugal), and Skill Hub (Italy). Each partner contributes specific expertise, from educational live-action role-play (LARP) and artistic communication to citizen science, youth empowerment, and cultural activism.

Kehsia Engaged in Rethinking What We Know

Growing up in developed and structured societies shapes the way we perceive the world. But does it have to remain this way? Have you ever considered rethinking what you thought you knew? Have you ever imagined seeing things differently, rediscovering them with a new lens?

Rethinking means going beyond conventions — interrogating, questioning, and disrupting them, and it is one of the fundamental characteristics of Kehsia asbl.

This critical approach has been explored by numerous authors and serves as the foundation for research in several universities. Rethinking how we act also involves reassessing the values we’ve internalized. Today more than ever, rethinking must be placed at the core of how we see, question, and develop our critical thinking.
