27 November 2025

On 27 November 2025, the Preliminary Online Kick-Off Meeting of CuriEUs Youth was successfully held, marking the official launch of the project activities and the beginning of operational cooperation among the partner organisations.

The project is coordinated by Citizens in Power – CIP, in collaboration with Knowledge and Empowerment HUB for Citizens Science – KEHSIA, EDUKRATIA – EDU, Larnaka Archives – Phivos Stavrides – ARC, Polska Rada Organizacji Młodzieżowych – PROM and Nacionalen Mladinski Sovet Na Makedonija – NYCM. The consortium brings together organisations with complementary expertise in the fields of youth, education, civic participation, research and social innovation, ensuring a multidisciplinary and transnational approach aligned with European priorities.

The meeting represented a key milestone for strategic and organisational alignment, aiming to clearly define objectives, governance structure, implementation methodology and coordination tools. The session opened with a welcome and round of introductions, during which each participant presented their organisation and role within the project, fostering an initial exchange of competencies and responsibilities across the partnership.

The project coordinator then presented an overview of CuriEUs Youth, outlining its concept, specific objectives, expected impact and overall structure. The initiative seeks to promote active youth participation, strengthen critical thinking skills and enhance young people’s engagement in civic and social processes across Europe.

Particular attention was dedicated to the implementation and coordination approach. The project management framework, internal communication procedures and monitoring and reporting mechanisms were presented in detail. The partnership agreed on the use of a shared digital workspace for document management, the organisation of monthly partner meetings and structured reporting routines to ensure transparency, efficiency and quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle.

During the partner presentation session, each organisation introduced its institutional profile, specific contribution to the project and the key tasks and deliverables under its responsibility. The open discussion that followed allowed for clarification of expectations, early coordination points and reinforcement of the collaborative spirit within the consortium.

The meeting concluded with the confirmation of the monthly meeting schedule and the definition of immediate next steps, establishing a structured roadmap for the implementation phase.

CuriEUs Youth is a project funded by the European Union and aims to contribute meaningfully to strengthening young people’s civic competences and promoting informed, inclusive and active participation through a solid European partnership and a results-oriented methodology.
