PRESS RELEASE

Luxembourg – August 2025 – The project “Coding&CO-DoING” has officially started! The aim of this project is to make digital education more accessible and engaging in a rapidly evolving digital world. The project targets teachers and educators working with children between 30 months and 6 years of age, to promote creativity, logic and problem-solving skills through play-based learning. The project is coordinated by KEHSIA asbl, based in Luxembourg together with FISM Provinciale di Parma – Federazione Italiana Scuole Materne, Provincia di Parma (Italy).

The success of this project depends on educators. Coding&CO-DoING provides teachers with all the essential tools to create dynamic learning environments, including training courses in innovative educational methods designed to stimulate children’s creativity and foster collaboration.

Thanks to this project, children between 30 months and 6 years of age have the opportunity not only to improve their digital skills, but also to learn how to work in teams, share tasks and develop critical thinking, problem-solving and algorithmic reasoning.

The project fosters cognitive, social and emotional growth through teamwork and collaboration in the classroom. Moreover, the initiative promotes inclusive education, equity and the development of transversal skills essential in the 21st century. In this project, an inclusive pedagogy is tailored to the needs of each student, for example by adapting materials for children with special educational needs. This project also raises teachers’ awareness of new digital learning methods.

This initiative is aligned with the Erasmus+ Programme, as it strengthens teachers’ coding knowledge, in order to support not only digital skills, but also inclusivity and creativity in early childhood education.

Through the programme, education becomes more accessible, engaging and, above all, inclusive!
