Kehsia engaged, as a partner of GAIALUX, to promote the Sustainable Development Goals

On June 20th, creativity, calm, and connection came together during a meaningful art session led by artist Lore. Joined by seven students from Solina, the group gathered to continue a beautiful and thoughtful project: the creation of personalised postal cards.

Art, A Path of Expression

This activity was not just about crafting; it was about expression. Drawing from two key sources of inspiration—the artworks made in our previous session and photos taken during a recent nature walk at LUGA, students learned to translate their experiences into visual form.

With Lore’s gentle guidance, they explored new artistic techniques, sharpening their skills while deepening their reflections.

Emotions As Drivers of Creation

But beyond technique, the focus was on emotion. Each card became a canvas not only for natural imagery but also for personal meaning. Students were invited to pair their artwork with a sentence, linking the images to feelings and lived moments. The result? A series of deeply individual postcards that spoke of how nature touches us all differently, evoking memories, sensations, and stories unique to each person.

Bridging Nature and Emotion Through Art

Through this creative process, a bridge was built between the natural world and inner experience. It’s a reminder that art is not just what we see, but what we feel—and that nature, in all its quiet beauty, continues to inspire expression and connection.

IDEE en Action has been made possible thanks to Fondation Sommer and realised in collaboration with GAIALUX.
