Exploring Cultural Heritage in the Digital Age: Highlights from the CuriEUs Youth Webinar

On 6 October 2026, KEHSIA asbl successfully hosted the online webinar “Digital Curation on Heritage and Politics”, organised within the framework of the Erasmus+ CuriEUs Youth project.

The webinar was an interesting and engaging opportunity to explore the connections between European cultural heritage, EU policies, the environment, education and the digital age.

Building on the in-person workshop held in Luxembourg on 5 September 2026, this online session continued the discussion on how cultural heritage can be explored, interpreted and connected to contemporary European society through digital tools.

Discovering the CuriEUs Youth E-booklets

One of the main highlights of the webinar was the presentation of the CuriEUs Youth e-booklets, developed as part of the project.

These educational resources explore different aspects of European cultural heritage and its connections with important contemporary topics, encouraging young people to reflect on European identity, shared values and active citizenship.

The presentation offered an opportunity to discover the project’s educational materials and reflect on how digital curation can make cultural heritage more accessible, engaging and relevant to younger generations.

Connecting Heritage, Digital Tools and Youth Participation

Throughout the webinar, attention was given to the role of digital tools in promoting cultural heritage and encouraging youth engagement.

The session highlighted how cultural heritage is not only about preserving the past, but also about understanding the present and inspiring active participation in shaping Europe’s future.

The webinar represented another valuable step in the CuriEUs Youth journey, reinforcing the importance of creativity, digital innovation and intercultural learning in promoting youth civic engagement.

Thank You for Joining Us!

KEHSIA asbl would like to warmly thank everyone who participated in the webinar and contributed to this learning experience.

We are pleased to continue promoting opportunities for young people to discover, reflect and engage with European cultural heritage.
