KESIA ASBL at the Festival de l’Amitié in Hesperange

KESIA ASBL was delighted to take part in this year’s Festival de l’Amitié in Hesperange the 21 st of June , where we had the opportunity to promote our FLYE project and engage face-to-face with members of the local community.

Throughout the day, we spoke with visitors about our FLYE project that among its activities promoted a call to fund a youth participatory budget initiative, explaining how community members were involved in shaping the project. We were also proud to present the winner of the initiative, Ahmed Gull, whose project was selected through the participatory process by popular vote.

The festival provided a wonderful opportunity to connect with people from diverse backgrounds, exchange ideas, and showcase the impact of the FLYE project. It was a fun and rewarding day, made even more enjoyable by the chance to meet and exchange with the many other ASBLs and cultural associations that contribute to Luxembourg’s vibrant community life.

To make the day enjoyable for visitors of all ages, we also organised a selection of games and activities for children, creating a welcoming and family-friendly atmosphere at our stand.

We would like to thank everyone who visited our stand and helped make the day such a success. We look forward to continuing to work together to strengthen community participation and inclusion across Luxembourg.
