On the 7th of march, two representatives from KEHSIA had the opportunity to participate in the Project Design Forum, joining inspiring organisations, project leaders, and funding bodies to exchange ideas and build future collaborations.
The forum brought together several key European funding programmes, including the Anna Lindh Foundation, CERV (Citizens, Equality, Rights & Values), Erasmus+, and Interreg Grande Région.
At the start of the event, programme contact points introduced their funding schemes, highlighting upcoming deadlines, requirements, and exciting opportunities for organisations looking to develop impactful projects. After this introduction, table leaders presented their project ideas, inviting participants to join forces and help shape new initiatives. The diversity of topics was impressive: discussions ranged from youth engagement in politics, to green community initiatives, and even democratic schools. This variety sparked lively conversations and helped participants identify where they could best contribute.

Throughout the day, participants moved between tables to exchange ideas, explore potential partnerships and had the opportunity to speak directly with funding programmes representatives if they already had a project idea. At the end of the session, each table presented its key outcomes in plenary, sharing insights and next steps with the entire group.
To ensure that the momentum continues, a Basecamp platform was created so participants can stay connected, further develop the project ideas discussed, and explore new collaboration opportunities.
For Kehsia, the forum was an exciting opportunity to connect with passionate changemakers and contribute to the development of meaningful European projects. We look forward to seeing these ideas grow into impactful initiatives!
