Luxembourg – October 2025 – On 2nd October, the project “Sexuality Connect” has officially been launched thanks to the kick-off meeting! We officially launched the project with a kick-off meeting that involved all team members. During this kick-off meeting were shared objectives, activities and next steps.
The aim of this initiative is to equip youth workers with innovative digital solutions to deliver inclusive and high-quality sexual education. In today’s digital age, young people are constantly exposed to online content that shapes their learning, relationships and identity. While the internet offers opportunities for connection and self-expression, it also carries risks such as exposure to pornography, sexting, grooming and misleading information around sexual health.

The project empowers them with knowledge, strategies and digital literacy skills to guide teenagers safely and responsibly. By promoting informed decision-making and respectful dialogue, youth workers play a key role in ensuring that young people grow up in safe supportive environments.
Through interactive training and international workshops, Sexuality Connect promotes inclusive sexual education that reaches all young people, including those from marginalized groups. Youth workers learn to:
- deliver accurate and inclusive sexual education
- navigate digital challenges with confidence
- apply respectful approaches to sensitive topics
Alongside face-to-face training, the project co-develops a permanent e-learning platform, offering:
- practical tools and interactive content
- reliable resources on sexual health and digital safety
- a safe digital space for youth to learn and share
- long-term access to methodologies for educators

Aligned with the EU Youth Strategy 2019 – 2027, Sexuality Connect promotes dignity, equality, non-discrimination, and active youth participation. By addressing both digital and social challenges, the project fosters inclusion, strengthens youth work and contributes to building a more respectful and supportive European society.
The project is coordinated by Kehsia asbl (Luxembourg) in collaboration with Donnexstrada (Italy), and EUducate (Spain). This consortium combines expertise in youth work, digital education, and social inclusion, ensuring innovation and long-term impact across Europe.
Kehsia will lead project communication and outreach, ensuring visibility and engagement. A final European event in Luxembourg will bring together youth workers, educators and stakeholders to share results and foster cooperation.

The project also guarantees sustainability by leaving behind a network of trained professionals and a digital platform available beyond its duration.
Sexuality Connect is more than a project: it is a commitment to empowering youth workers, protecting teenagers from digital risks, and shaping an inclusive future for all young people in Europe. Stay tuned to discover when the first meeting will be!
Sexuality Connect is a KA210 project co-funded by Anefore through the Erasmus+ Programme. It is coordinated by KEHSIA asbl (LU), together with ASSOCIAZIONE DONNEXSTRADA – ENTE DEL TERZO SETTORE (IT) and EUDUCATE (SP).
