My experience at Kehsia has been one of the most rewarding chapters of my professional journey. As an organization dedicated to developing and implementing European projects, with a strong focus on youth engagement and women empowerment, Kehsia provided me with the opportunity to discover the world of international cooperation, non-formal education, and youth engagement from the inside. It was an environment where I was trusted, challenged, and constantly encouraged to learn.
During my time at Kehsia, I had the opportunity to contribute to the coordination and implementation of several European projects, working alongside international partners and gaining a better understanding of how collaborative projects are managed across different countries and cultures. I also took part in various organizational and administrative activities, which taught me the importance of communication, attention to detail, teamwork, and good planning in ensuring that projects run smoothly and achieve their objectives.

One of the most valuable experiences I had was writing a European project proposal from scratch under the guidance and supervision of my manager. This process gave me a deep insight into project design, from identifying societal needs to defining objectives, activities, expected outcomes, and impact. It was both challenging and incredibly rewarding, and it strengthened my confidence in my ability to contribute meaningfully to future European initiatives.
Community outreach was another important part of my experience. I participated in dissemination and promotion events, including the Festival des Migrations and the Festival de l’Amitié, where I had the opportunity to present Kehsia’s projects and engage with the public. I also took part in a radio interview to promote the Festival des Migrations and raise awareness about Kehsia’s work. These experiences helped me develop my communication skills and showed me the importance of making European opportunities accessible to local communities.

I also had the chance to work directly with young people by facilitating workshops in schools during a Diversity Day event and throughout the duration of the Letz’Help project. These sessions focused on gender stereotypes in the media and encouraged students to reflect critically on the messages they encounter in their daily lives. Leading these workshops helped me develop my communication and facilitation skills while reinforcing the importance of promoting equality, diversity, and critical thinking among younger generations.
Beyond my daily responsibilities, Kehsia encouraged continuous learning by giving me access to a variety of inspiring workshops and training opportunities. I participated in the Laboratoire du Faire Ensemble, organized by a local organisation called WeCitizens, which explored innovative ways of designing projects for and with young people. I also had the opportunity to attend an ANEFORE training dedicated to creating European Youth Exchanges. These experiences broadened my understanding of youth work, project development, and participatory methodologies, while introducing me to professionals who share the same passion for social impact and international cooperation.
One of the highlights of my experience was participating in international mobilities in Warsaw and Thessaloniki. These mobilities allowed me to meet wonderful people from all over Europe, exchange ideas, discover different perspectives, and build friendships that extend beyond professional collaboration. It was a great reminder that Erasmus+ is not only about projects but also about creating meaningful human connections, fostering intercultural understanding, and working together toward common goals.

Looking back, I am incredibly grateful for everything Kehsia has offered me. Beyond the technical skills I developed in project management, proposal writing, event organization, and youth work, I gained confidence and broadened my horizons. Every project was a learning opportunity that introduced me to new ideas and inspiring people. A sincere thank you to everyone who made my experience at Kehsia so meaningful.
