My name is Letizia De Vittori, I am 16 years old, and I attend the European School Luxembourg II in the Italian section.
At the end of this school year, all fifth-year secondary students had the opportunity to complete a one- or two-week work experience placement with an organisation of their choice. While searching for an association, Kehsia immediately stood out to me. After learning more about its mission and projects, I became genuinely interested in its work and decided to apply.
During my time at Kehsia, I had the chance to take part in a variety of meaningful activities. I helped create educational games for children to raise awareness of the importance of women’s rights, contributed ideas for new merchandising initiatives, and participated in a workshop on artificial intelligence and critical thinking. Each task was different and gave me the opportunity to develop new skills while discovering how diverse the work of a social impact organisation can be.
One of the aspects I appreciated the most was the opportunity to combine creativity with learning. Every day brought something new, making the experience both engaging and rewarding. It also allowed me to see how teamwork, collaboration, and sharing ideas play an important role in achieving common goals.
What made this experience truly special was the people. From my very first day, the entire Kehsia team made me feel welcome, supported, and encouraged to ask questions and share my ideas. I am especially grateful to Chiara Crosio for giving me this opportunity and to everyone at Kehsia for their patience, kindness, and willingness to explain every aspect of their work.
This experience gave me a valuable insight into what it means to work in a professional environment while contributing to projects with a positive social impact. I not only learned something new every day, but I also gained a better understanding of the commitment, passion, and collaboration behind Kehsia’s activities.
I would highly recommend Kehsia to any student looking for a meaningful and enriching work experience. I sincerely thank the entire team for making this experience so valuable and inspiring, and I wish them all the best for the future.
