Sexuality Connect Mobility: Three Days of Learning, Collaboration and Empowerment

From 26 to 28 July 2026, partners of the Sexuality Connect Erasmus+ project will come together in Morfasso, Val d'Arda, Italy, for a three-day mobility program dedicated to promoting comprehensive sexual education, gender equality, and the prevention of gender-based violence. Hosted in a peaceful setting in the Italian countryside, the mobility will bring together participants from Luxembourg, Italy, and Spain to exchange knowledge, strengthen partnerships, and develop practical skills learned during the Sexuality connect online training available online here at Sexuality connect YouTube channel.

The programme begins with participants arriving at the hostel in Morfasso, followed by welcoming activities designed to build trust and create a safe and inclusive learning environment. Through interactive team-building exercises facilitated by DonneXstrada, participants will establish a foundation of mutual respect and openness, essential for discussing sensitive topics related to sexuality and relationships.

The first afternoon focuses on understanding the importance of creating safe spaces, both in educational settings and in everyday life. Participants will explore practical methods for encouraging respectful dialogue and inclusive participation. Corinne Collot  from KEHSIA asbl, will introduce the “Atelier AD REWRITE CHALLENGE – Challenging Sexism in Advertisements.” The workshop demonstrates how media literacy can be used to identify and challenge gender stereotypes in advertising while encouraging critical thinking among young people

The second day will center on gender and gender-based violence (GBV). Through interactive workshops led by DonneXstrada, participants will explore the social and cultural factors that contribute to discrimination and violence, while discussing strategies for prevention, awareness-raising, and education. Sexuality Connect project will organize the mobility together with another Erasmus + funded project EGAR – Emotional education, gender-based violence awareness and revenge porn contrast  and together participants will join the clustering dissemination event in Castell’Arquato involving local authorities and organisations working to combat gender-based violence. This event provides an opportunity to present the objectives of the Sexuality Connect project, exchange experiences with local stakeholders, and strengthen collaboration between international partners and local communities. The day will end with an informal aperitif-dinner, offering further opportunities for networking and intercultural exchange before participants gather once more for reflection groups.

The final day focuses on the digital dimension of sexual education. Participants attended an online learning session introducing the Sexuality Connect HOP platform, presented by Antonio Angel Vilchez Valdivia (EUducate). This session showcased digital learning opportunities developed within the project and highlighted how online resources can support educators and youth workers.

The mobility concludes with a final reflection session, allowing participants to evaluate the learning experience, share key takeaways, and discuss future cooperation. Over the course of three intensive days, the Sexuality Connect mobility combines expert-led training, intercultural exchange, practical workshops, and community engagement.

As a KA210 Erasmus+ Cooperation Partnership, Sexuality Connect continues to strengthen collaboration between KEHSIA asbl (Luxembourg), DonneXstrada (Italy), and EUducate (Spain). The mobility represents an important milestone in the project, equipping participants with new knowledge, practical tools, and strengthened international partnerships. It will create the basic knowledge to  finalize the  Sexuality Connect HOP platform and make the  youth workers ready for the experimentation phase in Luxembourg and Spain.
