For another year, KESHIA had the honor of taking part in the Festival de Migrations at the stand number 148! As always, this edition was amazing. The atmosphere was lively and crowded, but in a very positive way, thanks to all the associations that participated in this initiative and the many visitors. For KESHIA, this was a great opportunity to expand our horizons by meeting new people and organisations.

OUR STAND
On the 21st and 22nd of March KESHIA staff spent the weekend at Luxexpo, where the Festival del Migrations took place. With a beautiful decorated stand full of light and posters, we presented to the visitors KESHIA, who we are and what our mission and goals are. This was also a fantastic opportunity for us to engage new people and organisations in both our ongoing and future projects. Our stand was filled with flyers, photos and posters about the projects and our work, as well as fun stickers and merchandise.
But that’s not all! We also organised some interactive games to engage people and help them better understand what we do at KEHSIA. Through a puzzle where participants had to find the words related to the female dimension, a spin-the-wheel quiz with questions about topics such as gender equality, youth empowerment, stereotypes and youth dimension, and a “fact or myth” game, we communicated with people and we had fun together. They didn’t just learn more about our association, but they also had the chance to win prizes!
THE FESTIVAL THROUGH THE VOLOUNTEERS’ EYES
The festival was not only a wonderful experience for the visitors, but also for those who took part at our stand! Our volunteers shared that this experience allowed them to discover more about all the associations based here in Luxembourg, step out of their comfort zones by talking to new people and improve their social skills. And of course, last but not least, they also had a great time dancing during the concert and enjoying all the delicious and tasty food from all over the world!

Thanks a lot to all the volunteers who joined us during the festival, helping with the setting up the stand, running the games, promoting the project, and supporting all the activities we organised!
