CuriEUs Youth – Project Meeting

On 28 January 2026, the partners of the CuriEUs Youth project convened for an online coordination meeting aimed at reviewing progress, strengthening collaboration and ensuring the effective implementation of the project’s upcoming activities. The meeting represented an important operational checkpoint within the project’s first phase, allowing the consortium to assess developments and align strategic priorities.

CuriEUs Youth is coordinated by Citizens in Power – CIP and implemented in partnership with Knowledge and Empowerment HUB for Citizens Science – KEHSIA, EDUKRATIA – EDU, Larnaka Archives – Phivos Stavrides – ARC, Polska Rada Organizacji Młodzieżowych – PROM and Nacionalen Mladinski Sovet Na Makedonija – NYCM. The partnership brings together diverse expertise in youth engagement, civic education, research, archives, policy advocacy and participatory methodologies, creating a strong foundation for meaningful transnational cooperation.

During the meeting, partners provided comprehensive updates on the activities carried out since the project launch, including initial research steps, coordination arrangements, communication planning and preparatory actions for forthcoming deliverables. Special emphasis was placed on ensuring coherence between work packages, aligning timelines and confirming responsibilities for the next implementation period.

Beyond operational updates, the consortium engaged in a constructive exchange on quality assurance mechanisms, risk mitigation strategies and stakeholder engagement approaches. Partners discussed how to further strengthen outreach efforts and ensure that project results effectively reach young people, youth organisations and relevant stakeholders at local, national and European levels.

The meeting reaffirmed that close collaboration and continuous communication are essential to achieving the shared objectives of CuriEUs Youth. The consortium underlined the importance of mutual trust, transparency and coordinated action in order to maximise the project’s impact and deliver sustainable results. By working collectively and leveraging each partner’s expertise, the partnership aims to create innovative and inclusive opportunities that empower young people to actively participate in civic and social life.

The session concluded with a clear roadmap for the next phase of implementation, confirmation of upcoming milestones and agreement on the timeline for the next coordination meeting.
