At the heart of the REWIND Women Project lies a diverse European partnership committed to promoting gender equality, empowering young people, and creating innovative educational experiences through art and non-formal learning. Bringing together organisations from Luxembourg, Italy, Greece, and Portugal, the consortium combines complementary expertise in youth work, gender representation, non formal education methodologies and civic participation, its goal being to tackle gender stereotypes from multiple perspectives.
The partnership was built upon previous collaborations between L’isola che c’è (IT) and Kehsia (LUX) and a shared belief that social change begins with education, dialogue, and active participation. While each organisation contributes its own experience and local perspective, all partners share the common goal of helping young people challenge unconscious biases, develop critical thinking, and become active contributors to more inclusive communities and generate awareness on how gender stereotypes are deeply present in our lives.
Meet the Partners
L’Isola Che C’è APS (Italy) – Project Coordinator
As the coordinator of the REWIND Women Project, L’Isola Che C’è APS leads the overall management and implementation coordination of the project. The organisation brings extensive expertise in youth participation, human rights, gender equality, and non-formal education, particularly through the Educational Live Action Role Play (EDU-LARP) methodology. Their experience in designing immersive learning activities provides the educational foundation upon which the REWIND project is built.
KEHSIA asbl (Luxembourg)
Representing Luxembourg, KEHSIA asbl is dedicated to fostering social innovation, scientific literacy, and civic engagement while empowering women and young people through education and innovative approaches. Within the REWIND Women Project, KEHSIA contributes to project coordination, communication and dissemination activities, research activities as webinar or workshop and stakeholder engagement. By combining expertise in youth empowerment with innovative educational methodologies, KEHSIA helps ensure that the project’s results reach communities across Europe and encourage meaningful social impact.
PYLON ONE (Greece)
Based in Thessaloniki, PYLON ONE is a non-governmental organisation with extensive experience in Erasmus+ projects, youth participation, civic engagement, and non-formal education. The organisation has organised numerous educational programmes, workshops, conferences, and community initiatives, always placing young people at the centre of its activities. Within REWIND, PYLON ONE strengthens the educational dimension of the project while supporting youth engagement and international cooperation.
DCTR – Associação Cultural (Portugal)
DCTR is a Portuguese cultural association that believes artistic expression can be a powerful driver of personal and social transformation. Through theatre and creative practices and participatory methodologies, the organisation promotes inclusion, emotional development, and active citizenship among young people. Their expertise enriches REWIND by demonstrating how art can create safe spaces for reflection, dialogue, and social change while encouraging participants to explore issues of identity, equality, and representation.
SkillHub (Italy)
SkillHub is an Italian organisation specialising in contemporary art, urban regeneration, and community engagement. By combining creativity, design, and visual communication, SkillHub develops projects that encourage citizens to actively participate in shaping their communities. Within REWIND, the organisation contributes its expertise in artistic storytelling and creative dissemination, helping transform participants’ experiences into impactful visual outputs capable of reaching wider audiences.
Throughout the project, the consortium holds monthly online partnership meetings, creating a dedicated space to coordinate activities, review progress, exchange ideas, and plan upcoming milestones. These regular meetings allow partners to monitor the project’s development, ensure that all work packages remain on schedule, and collectively address any challenges that arise.
Together, the REWIND Women consortium demonstrates the power of European cooperation. By combining expertise in education, culture, research, youth participation, and artistic innovation, the partnership is developing practical tools that encourage young people to question stereotypes, embrace diversity, and become active promoters of equality.
