LËTZHELP
empowering the next generation of change makers
BRIDGING YOUTH AND NGOs
LËTZHELP creates a sustainable bridge between schools and the nonprofit sector. By partnering with local organizations, the project enables students aged 15-17 to contribute to impactful initiatives – from fundraising and community events to refugee support and environmental actions. These collaborations nurture teamwork, empathy, and leadership while helping NGOs strengthen their capacity.
WHAT IS THE PROJECT ABOUT
LËTZHELP is a youth empowerment initiative coordinated by Afrilanthropy ASBL in partnership with Kehsia ASBL, and funded by Œuvre Nationale de Secours Grande-Duchesse Charlotte. Developed from 2024-25 pilots involving Luxembourg high school students, the project aims to:
Provide structured volunteering pathways for students under 18.
Strengthen collaboration between education and nonprofit sectors.
Equip young people with civic, social, and organizational skills. The program runs from October 2025 to July 2026, including training, volunteering, and evaluation phases to ensure long-term impact and sustainability.
LEARNING BY DOING
Through a mix of workshops, volunteering hours, and final showcase, students gain practical experiences in:
Fundraising and project management.
Community engagement.
Event organization and communication.
Media creation and social awareness campaigns.
Each activity is designed to encourage responsibility, creativity, and problem-solving – empowering youth to take an active role in shaping their communities.
